Terms of Service
Last updated: 7 April 2026
1. What G2G Launch is
G2G Launch ("the Service") is a free tool operated by G2G Advisory Limited ("we", "us") that helps you deploy static websites to GitHub Pages via your own GitHub account. We are a tool provider, not a hosting provider. Your content is stored in your GitHub account and served by GitHub.
2. Your account
To use G2G Launch you must sign in with a valid GitHub account. By signing in, you authorise G2G Launch to create public repositories in your GitHub account, upload files to those repositories, and enable GitHub Pages. We do not read, modify, or delete your existing repositories.
You are responsible for your GitHub account credentials. If you believe your session has been compromised, sign out immediately from the G2G Launch app and revoke access via your GitHub authorised applications page.
3. Your content
You own everything you deploy. Your files go directly to your GitHub account. We do not store, copy, or retain your content on our servers. When a deploy completes, no copy of your files exists on G2G Launch infrastructure.
Because your content is hosted by GitHub, it is also subject to the GitHub Terms of Service and GitHub Acceptable Use Policies.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use G2G Launch to deploy content that:
- Is illegal in your jurisdiction or the United Kingdom
- Contains or distributes malware, phishing pages, or ransomware
- Harvests personal data without consent (credit cards, passwords, government IDs)
- Infringes copyright, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploitative content
- Promotes violence, terrorism, or hate speech
- Impersonates another person or organisation
- Runs cryptocurrency miners or other resource-abuse scripts
- Hosts SEO spam, doorway pages, or cloaked redirects
We run automated content scanning before each deploy as a courtesy filter. This does not guarantee that all harmful content will be caught, and passing the filter does not constitute approval of your content.
5. Enforcement
If we become aware of content that violates these terms, we may:
- Refuse or block future deploys from your account
- Report the content to GitHub for review under their policies
- Report illegal content to law enforcement
- Cooperate with law enforcement investigations
Because your content lives in your GitHub account (not ours), we cannot directly remove your deployed sites. Takedown requests should be directed to GitHub's DMCA process.
6. Abuse reporting
Anyone can report a site deployed via G2G Launch by sending a POST request to our /report API endpoint, or by emailing abuse@g2glaunch.com. We review reports and take appropriate action as described in section 5.
7. Privacy and data
When you use G2G Launch, we process:
- GitHub profile (username, avatar): used to display your identity in the app and to deploy to the correct account
- GitHub access token: stored in an encrypted server-side session (7-day expiry) and used solely to interact with the GitHub API on your behalf. We never share this token.
- IP address: logged with each deploy for abuse prevention (90-day retention)
- Deploy metadata: site name, file count, timestamps (90-day retention)
We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.
8. No warranty
G2G Launch is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, availability, or that deploys will succeed. GitHub Pages availability is controlled by GitHub, not by us.
We are not responsible for:
- Downtime or unavailability of GitHub or GitHub Pages
- Loss of content (your content lives in your GitHub account, so back it up)
- Any damages arising from use of the Service
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, G2G Advisory Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of the Service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the latest changes were made. Continued use of G2G Launch after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
12. Contact
For questions about these terms, or to report abuse, contact us at abuse@g2glaunch.com or via the GitHub issues page.
